Senate 0536: Relating to Elections/Supervisor of Elections [GPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S536     GENERAL BILL by Justice  (Identical H 0301, Compare CS/S 0956)
Elections/Supervisor of Elections [GPSC]; Requires that a supervisor of
elections in each county be elected in a nonpartisan election. Requires
that candidates for the office of supervisor of elections pay a
specified qualifying fee, subscribe to an oath, and file certain items
with said supervisor before the end of the qualifying period. Requires
that space be made available on a general election ballot for an elector
to write in the name of a write-in candidate for said office, etc.
EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2009.
