13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 1, lines 21-27, delete those lines

16  and insert:  livelihood, who obtained the information sought

17  while working as a salaried employee of, or independent

18  contractor for, a newspaper, news journal, news agency, press

19  association, wire service, radio or television station,

20  network, or news magazine. Book authors and others who are not

21  journalists, in the traditional sense of the term, shall not

22  be considered professional journalists for purposes of this

23  section.

24         (b)  "News" means information of public concern
