11  The Committee on Ways and Means recommended the following

12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 5, between lines 4 and 5,

16

17  insert:

18         Section 4.  Paragraph (e) is added to subsection (2) of

19  section 550.09514, Florida Statutes, to read:

20         550.09514  Greyhound dogracing taxes; purse

21  requirements.--

22         (2)

23         (e)  At the request of a majority of kennel operators

24  under contract with a greyhound permitholder, the permitholder

25  shall make deductions from purses paid to each kennel operator

26  electing such deduction and shall make a direct payment of

27  such deductions to the local association of greyhound kennel

28  operators formed by a majority of kennel operators under

29  contract with the permitholder. The amount of the deduction

30  shall be at least 1 percent of purses, as determined by the

31  local association of greyhound kennel operators. No deductions

10         On page 1, line 7, after the semicolon,

12  insert:

13         amending s. 550.09514, F.S.; providing for a

14         greyhound permitholder, under certain

15         conditions, to make deductions from purses paid

16         to kennel operators and to make payments to a

17         local association of greyhound kennel
