  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to dependency proceedings;

  3         declaring legislative intent to review part IV,

  4         ch. 39, F.S., and ch. 415, F.S., as they affect

  5         dependency proceedings.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  The Legislature shall review part IV of

10  chapter 39, Florida Statutes, and chapter 415, Florida

11  Statutes, as they affect dependency proceedings in light of

12  the Florida Dependency Court Improvement Program Assessment

13  Report issued August 1997 by the Office of the State Courts

14  Administrator.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.

19                          SENATE SUMMARY

20    Declares intent to study part IV of ch. 39, F.S., and ch.
      415, F.S., as they affect dependency proceedings, in
21    light of the Florida Dependency Court Improvement Program
      Assessment Report.
