  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to voyeurism; creating s.

  3         810.14, F.S.; prohibiting a person from

  4         entering onto real property without

  5         authorization for the purpose of secretly

  6         observing the occupant of a building or

  7         structure; providing a penalty; providing an

  8         effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12         Section 1.  Section 810.14, Florida Statutes, is

13  created to read:

14         810.14  Voyeurism prohibited.--A person may not,

15  without being authorized, licensed, or invited, enter onto

16  real property for the lewd, lascivious, or indecent purpose of

17  secretly observing the occupant of a building or structure

18  through a window or other opening. A person who violates this

19  section commits a felony of the third degree, punishable as

20  provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

21         Section 2.  This act shall take effect October 1, 1998.

25    Provides that it is a third-degree felony for a person to
      enter onto real property without being authorized,
26    licensed, or invited for the purpose of secretly
      observing the occupant of a building or structure.
