17 insert: a new Section 8.
18 Section 8. Subsection (1) of Section 376.75, Florida
19 Statutes, is amended to read:
20 376.75 Tax on production or importation of
21 perchloroethylene.--
22 (1) Beginning October 1, 1994, a tax of $5 per gallon
23 is levied on the sale of perchloroethylene
24 (tetrachloroethylene) in this state to a drycleaning facility
25 located in this state or the import of perchloroethylene into
26 this state by a drycleaning facility. This tax is not subject
27 to sales and use tax pursuant to Ch. 212.
