17 insert:
18 Section 23. The Department of Revenue, in consultation
19 with the Division of Economic and Demographic Research, shall
20 conduct a study on the equity of the refund provisions for
21 diesel fuel taxes pursuant to section 206.8745, Florida
22 Statutes, with regard to their applicability to commercial
23 carriers using fuel in a similar manner. The department shall
24 issue a report on its findings to the President of the Senate
25 and the Speaker of the House of Representatives before
26 December 31, 1998.
