15 On page 1, lines 22-24, delete those lines

17 and insert: is being made. Such statement must shall be
18 signed and recorded in person with the clerk of the circuit
19 court by the person making it and shall be recorded in the
20 circuit court. For purposes of this section, a homestead
21 exemption granted under s. 196.031 is deemed to be a
22 designation of homestead as provided in this section.
