  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the National Pollutant

  3         Discharge Elimination System; deleting an

  4         obsolete provision; providing an effective

  5         date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  Section 403.08851, Florida Statutes, is

10  amended to read:

11         403.08851  Implementation.--The provisions of this act

12  shall be implemented upon approval by the United States

13  Environmental Protection Agency of the National Pollutant

14  Discharge Elimination System program of the state.  No state

15  permit shall be issued pursuant to the provisions of this act

16  before July 1, 1994.

17         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

18  law.
