13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 28, between lines 15 and 16, of the bill

16  insert:

17         Section 17.  Paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section

18  320.02, Florida Statutes, 1998 Supplement, is amended to read:

19         320.02  Registration required; application for

20  registration; forms.--

21         (2)(a)  The application for registration shall include

22  the street address of the owner's permanent residence or the

23  address of his or her permanent place of business and shall be

24  accompanied by personal or business identification information

25  which may include, but need not be limited to, a driver's

26  license number, Florida identification card number, or federal

27  employer identification number.  If the owner does not have a

28  permanent residence or permanent place of business or if the

29  owner's permanent residence or permanent place of business

30  cannot be identified by a street address, the application

31  shall include:

 1         1.  If the vehicle is registered to a business, the

 2  name and street address of the permanent residence of an owner

 3  of the business, an officer of the corporation, or an employee

 4  who is in a supervisory position.

 5         2.  If the vehicle is registered to an individual, the

 6  name and street address of the permanent residence of a close

 7  relative or friend who is a resident of this state.
