11  Senator Klein moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 2, lines 12 through 15, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:  exchanged, or traded, such tax shall not be

17  levied at a rate in excess of its face value, the tax shall be

18  at a rate of 6 percent of the difference between the price at

19  which it is sold, exchanged, or traded and its face value.

24         On page 1, line 5, after the word "transactions"

27         in which the coin or currency is legal tender
