11  Senators Gutman and Jones moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 6, between lines 2 and 3,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 3.  Because of its intrinsic historical and

18  cultural value as the oldest 9-hole golf course in this state,

19  the Granada Golf Course, the unifying feature of the Country

20  Club of Coral Gables Historic District, is designated a

21  historic property as defined in section 267.21, Florida

22  Statutes. The City of Coral Gables shall preserve the

23  character and infrastructure of historic properties that are

24  owned or controlled by the city, including this site. This

25  section does not create a responsibility of any state agency

26  of the executive branch or the Division of Historic Resources,

27  does not require the expenditure of any state funds, and does

28  not require the City of Coral Gables to make any expenditures.
