11  Senator Jones moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 1, lines 16-19, delete the underlined language

16  and, following the period on line 16, insert:  To accomplish

17  this, the department shall allocate no less than 1.5 percent

18  of its total project budget to beautification. Only large

19  plant materials purchased from Florida-based nurserymen stock

20  on a uniform competitive-bid basis will be used. Up to 0.5

21  percent may be used for small to medium plant material.
