  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to economic development;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to foster

  4         economic development in urban cores and other

  5         communities in the state; providing an

  6         effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

11  foster economic development in urban cores and other local

12  communities in the state in order to create employment and

13  other economic opportunities for residents of the state.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

15  law.
