  2         An act relating to the Plantation Acres

  3         Improvement District, Broward County; amending

  4         s. 9, chapter 82-274, Laws of Florida;

  5         increasing the compensation that each

  6         supervisor shall be entitled to receive for his

  7         or her services; providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10

11         Section 1.  Section 9 of chapter 82-274, Laws of

12  Florida, is amended to read:

13         Section 9.  Compensation of board.--Each supervisor

14  shall be entitled to receive for his or her services an amount

15  not to exceed $300.00 $100.00 per month. In addition, each

16  supervisor shall receive reasonable traveling expenses for

17  attending district business outside of the district. Unless

18  the board by resolution otherwise provides, such traveling

19  expenses shall not be in excess of the amounts provided by law

20  for state and county officials.

21         Section 2.  This act shall take effect October 1, 1999.
