11  The Committee on Fiscal Resource recommended the following

12  substitute for amendment (113970):

14         Senate Amendment 

15         On page 4, line 24, through page 5, line 4, delete

16  those lines

17

18  and insert:

19         Section 2.  There is appropriated from nonrecurring

20  general revenue the sum of $4,500,000 to be paid as relief to

21  Joseph Bellamy Farver for injuries and damages sustained.

22         Section 3.  The Comptroller shall draw a warrant from

23  nonrecurring general revenue in the sum of $4,500,000 payable

24  to Helen and Jeff Farver, parents and legal guardians of

25  Joseph Bellamy Farver, to be placed in the Trust created for

26  the benefit of Joseph Bellamy Farver, a minor, to compensate

27  him for injuries and damages sustained. Upon the death of

28  Joseph Bellamy Farver, the Trust balance shall revert to the

29  general revenue of the State of Florida pursuant to the terms

30  of the Trust agreement.
