15         On page 10, line 30, through page 11, line 27, delete

16  those lines

18  and insert:

19         (a)  $6.30 $7.55 million shall be transferred to the

20  Department of Environmental Protection in each fiscal year

21  and. The transfers must be made in equal monthly amounts

22  beginning on July 1 of each fiscal year. $1.25 million of the

23  amount transferred shall be deposited annually in the Marine

24  Resources Conservation Trust Fund and must be used by the

25  department to fund special projects to provide recreational

26  channel marking, public launching facilities, and other

27  boating-related activities. The department shall annually

28  determine where unmet needs exist for boating-related

29  activities, and may fund such activities in counties where,

30  due to the number of vessel registrations, insufficient

31  financial resources are available to meet total water resource

 1  needs.  The remaining proceeds of the annual transfer shall be

 2  deposited in the Aquatic Plant Control Trust Fund to and must

 3  be used for aquatic plant management, including nonchemical

 4  control of aquatic weeds, research into nonchemical controls,

 5  and enforcement activities.  Beginning in fiscal year

 6  1993-1994, the department shall allocate at least $1 million

 7  of such funds to the eradication of melaleuca.

 8         (b)  $2.5 $1.25 million shall be transferred to the

 9  State Game Trust Fund in the Fish and Wildlife Conservation

10  Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission in each fiscal year. The

11  transfers must be made in equal monthly amounts beginning on

12  July 1 of each fiscal year. The commission shall annually

13  determine where unmet needs exist for boating-related

14  activities, and may fund such activities in counties where,

15  due to the number of vessel registrations, insufficient

16  financial resources are available to meet the total water

17  resource needs. and must be used for recreational
