11  The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Productivity

12  recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 6, line 25, through page 7, line 3, delete

16  those lines

17

18  and insert:  an undergraduate education, or a graduate or

19  post-baccalaureate professional degree. The amount waived by

20  the state shall be an amount equal to the cost of tuition and

21  matriculation and registration fees for a total of 120 credit

22  hours for a vocational-technical certificate or an

23  undergraduate education. For a child pursuing a graduate or

24  post-baccalaureate professional degree, the amount waived

25  shall equal the cost of tuition, matriculation, and

26  registration fees incurred while the child continues to

27  fulfill the professional requirements associated with the

28  graduate or post-baccalaureate professional degree program.
