14 On page 6, between lines 13 and 14,

16 insert:
17 Section 2. Notwithstanding any other provision of law
18 to the contrary, a private vendor that operates a private
19 correctional facility under contract with the Correctional
20 Privatization Commission, the Department of Corrections, or a
21 political division of the state may not house any inmate from
22 another state who has been convicted of committing or
23 attempting to commit crimes which, if committed in Florida,
24 would be punishable as murder as defined in s. 782.04,
25 kidnapping as defined in s. 787.01, or escape as defined in s.
26 944.40.
