14 On page 2, between lines 12 and 13,

16 insert:
17 Section 2. Subsection (11) of section 240.241, Florida
18 Statutes, is amended to read:
19 240.241 Divisions of sponsored research at state
20 universities.--
21 (11) The sponsored research programs of the Institute
22 of Food and Agricultural Sciences, the University of Florida
23 Health Science Center, and the engineering and industrial
24 experiment station shall continue to be centered at the
25 University of Florida as heretofore provided by law. Indirect
26 cost reimbursements of all grants deposited in the Division of
27 Sponsored Research shall be distributed directly to the above
28 units in direct proportion to the amounts earned by each unit.
