14         Senate Amendment 

15         On page 1, line 31, after the period,

16

17  insert:  When an activity of a farm operation takes place

18  within a wellfield protection area as defined in any wellfield

19  protection ordinance adopted by a local government, and the

20  adopted best management practice or interim measure does not

21  specifically address wellfield protection, a local government

22  may regulate that activity pursuant to such ordinance.
