  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to trust funds; creating s.

  3         20.3315, F.S.; creating a Florida Forever

  4         Program Trust Fund within the Florida Fish and

  5         Wildlife Conservation Commission; providing

  6         purposes; providing for a source of moneys;

  7         providing for annual carryforward of funds;

  8         providing for future review and termination or

  9         re-creation of the trust fund; providing an

10         effective date.

12  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13

14         Section 1.  Section 20.3315, Florida Statutes, is

15  created to read:

16         20.3315  Florida Forever Program Trust Fund of the

17  Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.--

18         (1)  There is created a Florida Forever Program Trust

19  Fund within the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation

20  Commission to carry out the duties of the commission under the

21  Florida Forever Act as specified in s. 259.105(3)(f). The

22  trust fund shall receive funds pursuant to s. 259.105(3)(f).

23         (2)  Notwithstanding the provisions of s. 216.301 and

24  pursuant to s. 216.351, any balance in the trust fund at the

25  end of any fiscal year shall remain in the trust fund at the

26  end of the year and shall be available for carrying out the

27  purposes of the trust fund.

28         (3)  Pursuant to the provisions of s. 19(f)(2), Art.

29  III of the State Constitution, the trust fund shall, unless

30  terminated sooner, be terminated on July 1, 2004. Prior to its

  1  scheduled termination, the trust fund shall be reviewed as

  2  provided in s. 215.3206(1) and (2).

  3         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2000.

      Creates a Florida Forever Program Trust Fund within the
  8    Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to
      carry out the commission's duties specified and funded
  9    under the Florida Forever Act. Provides for annual
      carryforward of funds. Provides for future review and
10    termination or re-creation of the trust fund.
