17  and insert in lieu thereof:  No officer, director, employee,

18  or consultant of such corporation shall be or shall have been

19  for the two years immediately preceding his or her

20  appointment, election, selection, or retention, a member of

21  the Legislature, appointed state officer, or statewide elected

22  officer.
