14         On page 1, line 22, through

15            page 3, line 18, delete those lines

17  and insert:

18         Section 1.  Florida-Africa Market Expansion Program.--

19         (1)  Contingent upon a specific appropriation, there is

20  created within Enterprise Florida, Inc., the Florida-Africa

21  Market Expansion Program to increase trade between Florida and

22  the nations of Africa. To accomplish such increased trade

23  activity, Enterprise Florida, Inc., may assist small and

24  medium-sized Florida businesses and manufacturers in exporting

25  their products to African nation or importing products from

26  African nations.

27         (2)  Enterprise Florida, Inc., may coordinate with

28  appropriate organizations and education institutions, and may

29  contract with individuals or entities to expand trade between

30  Florida and Africa. The coordination may encompass market

31  development, market promotion and research, and educational

 1  and information services to maximize the resources and

 2  information services for the expansion of trade between

 3  Florida and the Africa nations. Enterprise Florida, Inc., may

 4  provide support for local business-development programs that

 5  provide business information on Africa and promote bilateral

 6  business opportunities. Enterprise Florida, Inc., may

 7  establish Florida international representation in Africa for

 8  the purpose of expanding business and cultural and

 9  infrastructure ties between Florida and Africa.

10         (3)  As part of the annual report required under

11  section 288.906, Florida Statutes, Enterprise Florida, Inc.,

12  shall provide detailed information concerning activities and

13  accomplishments under this program.
