11  Senator Saunders moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 20, between lines 20 and 21,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 17.  A person or entity that arranges for or

18  makes available to an injured person any product, service,

19  accommodation, or treatment through the use of, or by means

20  of, independent contractors, leased employees, leased

21  equipment, or leased facilities is considered to be a person

22  or institution that is lawfully rendering or providing such

23  products, services, accommodations, or treatments in

24  accordance with Florida Statutes. This section clarifies

25  existing law and applies to all claims for any product,

26  service, accommodation, or treatment, regardless of when the

27  claim is or was submitted to an insurer for payment.
