14         Amendment 

15         On page 15, between lines 24 and 25, of the bill

16

17  insert:  Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 287, the

18  agency may, at its discretion, renew a contract or contracts

19  for fiscal intermediary services one or more times for such

20  periods as the agency may decide; however, all such renewals

21  may not combine to exceed a total period longer than the term

22  of the original contract.
