13 erect markers; designating a portion of State
14 Road 87 in Santa Rosa County as the Bennett C.
15 Russell Highway; directing the Department of
16 Transportation to erect suitable markers;
17 co-designating a portion of North 36th Street
18 in Miami-Dade County as "Borinquen Boulevard";
19 directing the Department of Transportation to
20 erect suitable markers; designating a portion
21 of U.S. Highway 41 in White Springs as the
22 "Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Highway";
23 designating U.S. Highway 90 in Madison County
24 as part of the "Florida Arts Trail";
25 designating NW 79th Street from NW 27th Avenue
26 to 32nd Avenue as the Roslyn McGruder Clark
27 Way; providing an effective date.

29 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

31 Section 1. George Crady Bridge designation; markers.--

1 (1) The old Nassau Sound Bridge (bridge number 750055)
2 on State Road 105 in Nassau and Duval Counties is designated
3 as the "George Crady Bridge."
4 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
5 erect suitable markers designating the "George Crady Bridge"
6 as described in subsection (1).
7 Section 2. The Florida Highway Patrol Memorial Highway
8 designation; markers.--
9 (1) The Florida portion of Interstate 75 is designated
10 as the Florida Highway Patrol Memorial Highway.
11 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
12 erect suitable markers designating the "Florida Highway Patrol
13 Memorial Highway" as described in subsection (1).
14 Section 3. Jerry Thompson Expressway designation;
15 markers.--
16 (1) The Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869) located in
17 Broward County is designated as the "Jerry Thompson
18 Expressway" in honor of the late Broward County Commissioner
19 who served from November 1974 through November 1996.
20 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
21 erect suitable markers designating the "Jerry Thompson
22 Expressway" as described in subsection (1).
23 Section 4. Bennett C. Russell Highway designated;
24 markers.--
25 (1) State Road 87 from the Alabama/Florida border to
26 U.S. Highway 98 in Santa Rosa County is designated as the
27 "Bennett C. Russell Highway."
28 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
29 erect suitable markers designating the "Bennett C. Russell
30 Highway" as described in subsection (1).
31 Section 5. Borinquen Boulevard designation; markers.--

1 (1) North 36th Street (State Road No. 25) from
2 Biscayne Boulevard to N.W. 7th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is
3 co-designated as "Borinquen Boulevard."
4 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
5 erect suitable markers designating "Borinquen Boulevard" as
6 described in subsection (1).
7 Section 6. General Robert L. Howell Bridge
8 designation; markers.--
9 (1) The Department of Transportation projects numbered
10 49003 and 49004 located in Franklin County shall be named the
11 "General Robert L. Howell Bridge" to honor the many years of
12 service given by General Howell to the Florida National Guard.
13 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
14 erect suitable markers designating the "General Robert L.
15 Howell Bridge" as described in subsection (1).
16 Section 7. Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Highway
17 designation; markers.--
18 (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 41 located in the
19 City of White Springs, Hamilton County, is designated as the
20 "Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Highway."
21 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
22 erect suitable markers designating the "Martin Luther King,
23 Jr., Memorial Highway" as described in subsection (1).
24 Section 8. Florida Arts Trail designation; markers.--
25 (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 90 located in Madison
26 County is designated as part of the "Florida Arts Trail."
27 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
28 erect suitable markers designating the "Florida Arts Trail" as
29 described in subsection (1).
30 Section 9. Roslyn McGruder Clark Way designation;
31 markers.--

1 (1) North West 79th Street (SR 934) from NW 27th
2 Avenue (SR 9) to NW 32nd Avenue in Miami-Dade County is
3 designated as the "Roslyn McGruder Clark Way".
4 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to
5 erect suitable markers designating the "Roslyn McGruder Clark
6 Way" as described in subsection (1).
7 Section 10. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
8 law.
