17 Section 9. If a public servant is subjected to an
18 investigation in any action brought against the public servant
19 under sections 838.022, 838.20, 838.21, 838.22, 838.23, and
20 838.24, Florida Statutes, for official misconduct, the public
21 servant may petition the public agency employing the public
22 servant to award attorney's fees if the charges of official
23 misconduct are withdrawn or the public servant is acquitted in
24 a legal proceeding.
