17 Section 39. Section 395.1024, F.S., is created to
18 read:

20 395.1024 Patients Consenting to Adoptions; Protocols
21 (1) Each licensed facility shall adopt a protocol
22 that at a minimum provides for facility staff to be
23 knowledgeable of the waiting periods, revocation and the
24 contents of the consent to adoption as contained in s.
25 63.082(4), and describes the supportive and unbiased manner in
26 which facility staff will interact with birth parents and
27 prospective adoptive parents regarding the adoption, in
28 particular during the waiting period required in s.
29 63.082(4)(b) before consenting to an adoption.
30 (2) The protocol shall be in writing and be provided
31 upon request to any birth parent or prospective adoptive
