  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Legislature; fixing the

  3         date for convening the regular session of the

  4         Legislature in the year 2002; providing an

  5         effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  In accordance with Section 3(b) of Article

10  III of the State Constitution and in lieu of the date fixed

11  therein, the 2002 regular session of the Legislature shall

12  convene on Wednesday, January 23, 2002.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law.
