17 Section 27. Subsection (6) is added to section
18 561.501, Florida Statutes, to read:
19 561.501 Surcharge on sale of alcoholic beverages for
20 consumption on the premises; penalty.--
21 (6) Effective July 1, 2002, a vendor may elect to
22 satisfy all of its obligations under this section for
23 collection of the surcharge and avoid all recordkeeping and
24 accounting requirements by remitting to the department on the
25 schedule stated in subsection (2) the amount of surcharges
26 paid to the department for the same subject month in the
27 preceding year.
