11  Senator Diaz de la Portilla moved the following amendment:
12  
13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 56, between lines 5 and 6,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 33.  (1)  Notwithstanding any other provision
18  of law and notwithstanding any regulation or order of the
19  Public Service Commission, a network access point facility
20  that is located in a designated community redevelopment area
21  and that received a building permit related to such facility
22  prior to January 1, 2001, shall be provided with electrical
23  service consistent with requirements of the tariff of the
24  public utility. Any additional performance guaranty or
25  construction costs shall not be required beyond that which was
26  allowed by the Public Service Commission prior to January 1,
27  2001. Further, the community redevelopment agency serving the
28  area in which the network access point facility is located is
29  authorized, for a period of up to 10 years, to offset any
30  extra infrastructure costs related to providing utility
31  services to the network access point facility.

17         services to a network access point facility;
