14 On page 130, line 8, through
15 page 131, line 30 delete those lines
16
17 and insert: local ordinances. The provisions of this act
18 shall not apply to any signs that are the subject of an
19 ordinance providing an amortization period, which period has
20 expired, and which ordinance is the subject of judicial
21 proceedings that were commenced on or before January 1, 2001,
22 nor shall the provisions of this act apply to any signs that
23 are required to be removed by a date certain in areas
24 designated by local ordinance as "view corridors" if the local
25 ordinance creating the "view corridors" was enacted in part to
26 effectuate a consensual agreement between the local government
27 and two or more sign owners prior to the effective date of
28 this act.
