  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the re-creation of the State

  3         Game Trust Fund without modification;

  4         re-creating the trust fund; carrying forward

  5         current balances and continuing current sources

  6         and uses thereof; providing an effective date.

  7

  8         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

  9  the State Game Trust Fund, which is otherwise scheduled to be

10  terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and

11         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the trust fund

12  before its scheduled termination date and has found that it

13  continues to meet an important public purpose, and

14         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

15  policy concerning the trust fund sets adequate parameters for

16  its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

18  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

19

20         Section 1.  (1)  The State Game Trust Fund within the

21  Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, FLAIR Number

22  77-2-672, which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f),

23  Article III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2004, is

24  re-created.

25         (2)  All current balances of the trust fund are carried

26  forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund

27  are continued.

28         Section 2.  This act shall take effect November 4,

29  2004.
