  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to organ transplantation

  3         programs; providing for an impact study and

  4         report to the Legislature; providing an

  5         effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  The Agency for Health Care Administration

10  shall perform an impact study to determine the effect, if any,

11  of any organ transplant programs and report to the Legislature

12  by January 1, 2002.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2001.

15          STATEMENT OF SUBSTANTIAL CHANGES CONTAINED IN
                       COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR
16                         Senate Bill 684

17

18  CS for SB 684 strikes all the language of the bill and
    substitutes in its place a provision for the Agency for Health
19  Care Administration to perform an impact study regarding organ
    transplantation programs and report to the Legislature by
20  January 1, 2002.
