  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Broward County; directing

  3         the Board of County Commissioners to issue a

  4         certificate of public convenience and necessity

  5         to any municipality within the county that is

  6         an applicant for licensure as a basic life

  7         support or advanced life support service;

  8         providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12         Section 1.  The Board of County Commissioners of

13  Broward County shall issue the certificate of public

14  convenience and necessity required by s. 401.25, Florida

15  Statutes, to any municipality within the county that is an

16  applicant for licensure as a basic life support or advanced

17  life support service.

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

19  law.
