  2         An act relating to Okaloosa County; amending

  3         chapter 99-478, Laws of Florida, relating to

  4         the Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District;

  5         providing for the annexation of certain

  6         unincorporated areas of Okaloosa County into

  7         the boundaries of the district; providing an

  8         effective date.

  9

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11

12         Section 1.  Section 1 of the charter of the Ocean

13  City-Wright Fire Control District as re-created and reenacted

14  by chapter 99-478, Laws of Florida, is amended to read:

15         Section 1.  Creation; boundaries.--Upon this act

16  becoming a law, all of the following lands in Okaloosa County

17  shall be incorporated as an independent special fire control

18  district, which shall be a public municipal corporation for

19  the public benefit, with perpetual existence, to be known as

20  the Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District in which case it

21  may sue and be sued, lease, own, possession and convey real

22  and personal property, by purchase or gift or otherwise, in

23  order to carry out the purposes of this act. The lands so

24  incorporated shall include the following:

26         Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 1

27         Block 3, Bellavista Subdivision; then Easterly

28         along the Southern boundary of Block 3,

29         Bellavista Subdivision, an extension of South

30         line of Block 3 Easterly to the center line of

31         State Highway 85, Eglin Parkway; thence go in a

  1         Northeasterly direction along the center line

  2         of said State Road 85 to the Section line

  3         dividing Sections 1 and 12, Township 2 South,
