  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the excise tax on aviation

  3         fuel; reducing the amount of the excise tax

  4         imposed on each gallon of aviation fuel sold in

  5         this state; providing for future repeal;

  6         providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Notwithstanding section 206.9825(1)(a),

11  Florida Statutes, the excise tax on aviation fuel is reduced

12  to 3.45 cents per gallon. This section expires July 1, 2003.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law.
