15 On page 1, line 17, through page 2, line 11, delete
16 those lines

18 and insert:
19 (9) To help mitigate the impact of the midyear
20 reduction in the 2001-2002 fiscal year appropriation for the
21 Florida Education Finance Program, each district school board
22 is authorized to expend in its operating budget as
23 nonrecurring funds up to 0.5 mills of its nonvoted capital
24 improvement millage levied pursuant to s. 236.25(2), Florida
25 Statutes, for the 2001-2002 fiscal year. This authorized use
26 of proceeds from this millage levy is in addition to the
27 authorized uses set forth in s. 236.25, Florida Statutes, and
28 is for the 2001-2002 fiscal year only. Any proceeds from this
29 millage levy used to replace the midyear budget reduction in
30 the Florida Education Finance Program shall be transferred by
31 budget amendment approved by the district school board at a

2 (10) This section is repealed effective June 30, 2002.
