2 An act relating to the County Article V Trust
3 Fund; amending s. 25.402, F.S.; authorizing the
4 use of moneys in the trust fund to fund the
5 state courts system; amending s. 34.201, F.S.;
6 removing a provision relating to funds credited
7 to the trust fund and the uses thereof, to
8 conform; providing an effective date.

10 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12 Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section
13 25.402, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
14 25.402 County Article V Trust Fund.--
15 (1)(a) The trust fund moneys in the County Article V
16 Trust Fund, administered by the Supreme Court, may be used to
17 fund the state courts system and to compensate counties for
18 the costs they incur under Article V of the State Constitution
19 in operating the state courts system, including the costs they
20 incur in providing and maintaining court facilities.
21 Section 2. Section 34.201, Florida Statutes, is
22 amended to read:
23 34.201 County Article V Trust Fund.--The County
24 Article V Trust Fund is hereby created, to be administered by
25 the Supreme Court. Funds shall be credited to the trust fund
26 as provided in chapter 97-235, Laws of Florida, for the
27 purposes set forth therein.
28 Section 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
29 law.
