14         Amendment (with title amendment) 

15  Remove everything after the enacting clause

16

17  and insert:

18         Section 1.  Subsection (7) is added to section 343.64,

19  Florida Statutes, to read:

20         343.64  Powers and duties.--

21         (7)  Notwithstanding any other provision to the

22  contrary, the authority may not act as the community

23  transportation coordinator for the transportation

24  disadvantaged program pursuant to part I of chapter 427, and

25  any past appointment of the authority shall be void effective

26  July 1, 2002.

27         Section 2.  Funding for the transportation

28  disadvantaged shall be provided for in line item 2102 of the

29  General Appropriations Act.

30         Section 3.  This act shall take effect October 1, 2002.

  9         prohibiting the Central Florida Regional

10         Transportation Authority from acting as the

11         community transportation coordinator for the

12         transportation disadvantaged; providing

13         reference to funding for the transportation

14         disadvantaged; providing an effective date.
