14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 1, lines 18-26, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:

18         Section 1.  The Commission for the Transportation

19  Disadvantaged shall conduct a competitive process through a

20  request for proposal, that at a minimum focuses on

21  accountability, administrative costs, cost effectiveness, and

22  quality of service for the selection of the Community

23  Transportation Coordinator before December 31, 2002. The

24  Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority shall not be

25  granted any preference in the selection of the Community

26  Transportation Coordinator and must compete in the same manner

27  as the private sector.
