14 On page 1, between lines 19 and 20 of the bill

16 insert:
17 Section 2. Section 627.06291, Florida Statutes, is
18 created to read:
19 627.06291 Residential property insurance; disclosure
20 of agent commissions, fees, and other compensation.--
21 (1) Any application for residential property insurance
22 coverage shall include, in 12-point boldface type, a
23 disclosure statement in a form specified by the department
24 that plainly indicates to the applicant the percentage of
25 premium that will be paid to the agent as commission and any
26 other fees that will be paid to the agent. The disclosure
27 statement shall include both the commission to be paid for the
28 first year of the policy and the commission to be paid for
29 renewals.
30 (2) Any premium notice for a residential property
31 insurance policy shall include a separate disclosure of any
