17 Section 1. Section 11.2421, Florida Statutes, is
18 amended to read:
19 11.2421 Florida Statutes 2002 1999 adopted.--The
20 accompanying revision, consolidation, and compilation of the
21 public statutes of 1999, as amended, the public statutes of
22 2000, as amended, and the public statutes of 2001 1997 of a
23 general and permanent nature, excepting tables, rules,
24 indexes, and other related matter contained therein, prepared
25 by the Office of Legislative Services under the provisions of
26 s. 11.242, together with corrections, changes, and amendments
27 to and repeals of provisions of Florida Statutes 1997 enacted
28 in additional reviser's bill or bills by the 1999 Legislature,
29 is adopted and enacted as the official statute law of the
30 state under the title of "Florida Statutes 2002 1999" and
31 shall take effect immediately upon publication. Said statutes

1 may be cited as "Florida Statutes 2002 1999," "Florida
2 Statutes," or "F.S. 2002 1999."
3 Section 2. Section 11.2422, Florida Statutes, is
4 amended to read:
5 11.2422 Statutes repealed.--Every statute of a general
6 and permanent nature enacted by the State or by the Territory
7 of Florida at or prior to the regular 2001 1997 legislative
8 session, and every part of such statute, not included in
9 Florida Statutes 2002 1999, as adopted by s. 11.2421, as
10 amended, or recognized and continued in force by reference
11 therein or in ss. 11.2423 and 11.2424, as amended, is
12 repealed.
13 Section 3. Section 11.2424, Florida Statutes, is
14 amended to read:
15 11.2424 Laws not repealed.--Laws enacted at the
16 October 22-November 1, 2001, and November 27-December 6, 2001,
17 special sessions and the 2002 November 1997 special session,
18 the 1998 regular session, and the 1999 regular session are not
19 repealed by the adoption and enactment of the Florida Statutes
20 2002 1999 by s. 11.2421, as amended, but shall have full
21 effect as if enacted after its said adoption and enactment.
22 Section 4. Section 11.2425, Florida Statutes, is
23 amended to read:
24 11.2425 Rights reserved under repealed statutes.--The
25 repeal of any statute by the adoption and enactment of Florida
26 Statutes 2002 1999, by s. 11.2421, as amended, shall not
27 affect any right accrued before such repeal or any civil
28 remedy where a suit is pending.

7 An act relating to the official Florida
8 Statutes; amending ss. 11.2421, 11.2422,
9 11.2424, and 11.2425, F.S.; adopting the
10 Florida Statutes 2002 and designating the
11 portions thereof that are to constitute the
12 official law of the state; providing that the
13 Florida Statutes 2002 shall be effective
14 immediately upon publication; providing that
15 general laws enacted during the 2001 regular
16 session and prior thereto and not included in
17 the Florida Statutes 2002 are repealed;
18 providing that general laws enacted during the
19 October 22-November 1, 2001, and November
20 27-December 6, 2001, special sessions and the
21 2002 regular session are not repealed by this
22 adoption act.
