13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 17, between lines 8 and 9,

16 insert:
17 Section 10. Section 106.09, Florida Statutes, is
18 amended to read:
19 106.09 Cash contributions and contribution by
20 cashier's checks.--
21 (1) A No person may not shall make or accept a cash
22 contribution or contribution by means of a cashier's check in
23 excess of $100.
24 (2)(a) Any person who makes or accepts a contribution
25 in excess of $100 in violation of this section commits is
26 guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as
27 provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
28 (b) Any person who knowingly and willfully makes or
29 accepts a contribution in excess of $5,000 in violation of
30 this section commits a felony of the third degree, punishable
31 as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.
