11  The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Productivity

12  recommended the following amendment:

13

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 2, between lines 9 and 10,

16

17  insert:

18         Section 2.  Effective July 1, 2002, for the purposes of

19  funding the 3-year average final compensation benefit change,

20  the contribution rate for the below-named classes of the

21  Florida Retirement System shall be increased, as follows:

22         (a)  The contribution rate that applies to the Regular

23  Class of the Florida Retirement System shall be increased by

24  1.06 percentage points.

25         (b)  The contribution rate that applies to the Special

26  Risk Class of the Florida Retirement System shall be increased

27  by 2.14 percentage points.

28         (c)  The contribution rate that applies to the Special

29  Risk Administrative Support Class of the Florida Retirement

30  System shall be increased by 1.67 percentage points.

31         (d)  The contribution rate that applies to the Judicial

  1  subclass of the Elected Officers' Class of the Florida

  2  Retirement System shall increase by 1.87 percentage points.

  3         (e)  The contribution rate that applies to the

  4  legislative-attorney-Cabinet subclass of the Elected Officers'

  5  Class of the Florida Retirement Class shall be increased by

  6  1.79 percentage points.

  7         (f)  The contribution rate that applies to the County

  8  Officers' subclass of the Elected Officers' Class of the

  9  Florida Retirement System shall be increased by 1.66

10  percentage points.

11         (g)  The contribution rate that applies to the Senior

12  Management Service Class of the Florida Retirement System

13  shall be increased by 1.45 percentage points.

15  These increases shall be in addition to all changes to such

16  contribution rates which may be enacted into law to take

17  effect on that date. The Division of Statutory Revision is

18  directed to adjust the contribution rates set forth in

19  sections 122.052, 121.055, and 121.071, Florida Statutes.
