14         On page 1526, between lines 27 & 28, of the bill

16  insert:

17         Section 828.  Section 1013.357, Florida Statutes, is

18  created to read:

19         1013.357  Naming educational facilities.--A district

20  school board shall not name a school or other educational

21  facility after current or former district school board

22  members, district school superintendents, or district school

23  board employees without prior approval of the Legislature.

24  District school boards shall give sufficient public notice to

25  solicit public input from residents who live in the area in

26  which a school or other educational facility to be named is

27  located.
