13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 27, between lines 3 and 4,

16  insert:

17         (14)  A nonpublic college shall apply for and obtain

18  approval to conduct any diploma program as defined in s.

19  246.021, Florida Statutes. Colleges under the jurisdiction of

20  the Commission for Independent Education shall apply to the

21  commission.  Colleges that are not under the jurisdiction of

22  the commission shall apply to the Department of Education.
