9 as the "Sybil C. Mobley Business Building";
10 designating the new allied health building at
11 Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University
12 as the "Jacqueline B. Beck-Margaret W. Lewis
13 Allied Health Building"; designating the
14 architecture building at Florida Agricultural
15 and Mechanical University as the "Walter L.
16 Smith Architecture Building"; designating the
17 building that houses the University of Central
18 Florida Downtown Center as the "James and Annie
19 Ying Academic Center"; designating the
20 student/community educational facility for
21 health at Florida Gulf Coast University as the
22 "Kleist Health Education Center"; designating
23 the new gymnasium/athletics facility at Florida
24 Gulf Coast University as the "Alico Arena";
25 designating the new demonstration and education
26 model building to promote environmentally
27 sustainable living conditions at Florida Gulf
28 Coast University as the "WCI Green Building
29 Demonstration and Learning Center"; designating
30 the new foundation building to be erected on
31 the Palmer Campus of New College as the

1 "Keating Center"; designating the new nursing
2 building on the Boca Raton Campus of Florida
3 Atlantic University as the "Christine E. Lynn
4 Nursing Building"; designating the two
5 east-west roads on the north and south sides of
6 the Esplanade leading to the John and Mable
7 Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota between
8 Bayshore Road and U.S. Highway 41 as the John
9 McKay Boulevard of the Cultural Arts;
10 designating the proposed entrance pavilion for
11 the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art as
12 the John McKay Center for the Arts; designating
13 the education and research center located at
14 the IFAS-University of Florida Center in Fort
15 Pierce the "I. A. 'Mac' Mascioli Education and
16 Research Center"; requiring certain
17 universities and the Department of
18 Transportation to erect markers; providing an
19 effective date.

21 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
22
23 Section 1. The renovated transplant housing unit at
24 the University of Florida's Shands Hospital is designated as
25 the "Gerold L. Schiebler/Shands Transplant Housing Complex."
26 Section 2. The School of Business and Industry
27 building at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University is
28 designated as the "Sybil C. Mobley Business Building."
29 Section 3. The new allied health building at Florida
30 Agricultural and Mechanical University is designated as the
31 "Jacqueline B. Beck-Margaret W. Lewis Allied Health Building."

1 Section 4. The architecture building at Florida
2 Agricultural and Mechanical University is designated as the
3 "Walter L. Smith Architecture Building."
4 Section 5. The building which houses the University of
5 Central Florida Downtown Center is designated as the "James
6 and Annie Ying Academic Center."
7 Section 6. The student/community educational facility
8 for health at Florida Gulf Coast University is designated as
9 the "Kleist Health Education Center."
10 Section 7. The new gymnasium/athletics facility at
11 Florida Gulf Coast University is designated as the "Alico
12 Arena."
13 Section 8. The new demonstration and education model
14 building to promote environmentally sustainable living
15 conditions at Florida Gulf Coast University is designated as
16 the "WCI Green Building Demonstration and Learning Center."
17 Section 9. The new foundation building to be erected
18 on the Palmer Campus of New College is designated as the
19 "Keating Center."
20 Section 10. The new nursing building on the Boca Raton
21 Campus of Florida Atlantic University is designated as the
22 "Christine E. Lynn Nursing Building."
23 Section 11. The two east-west roads on the north and
24 south sides of the Esplanade leading to the John and Mable
25 Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota between Bayshore Road and
26 U.S. Highway 41 are designated the John McKay Boulevard of the
27 Cultural Arts.
28 Section 12. The proposed entrance pavilion for the
29 John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, when funded
30 and completed, shall be designated the John McKay Center for
31 the Arts.

1 Section 13. The education and research center located
2 at the IFAS-University of Florida Center in Fort Pierce shall
3 be named the "I. A. 'Mac' Mascioli Education and Research
4 Center."
5 Section 14. The universities named in this act are
6 authorized to erect suitable markers for the designations made
7 by the act.
8 Section 15. The Department of Transportation is
9 directed to erect suitable markers bearing the designation
10 made by section 11 of this act, at least one to be placed on
11 U.S. Highway 41.
12 Section 16. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
13 law.

18 The Committee Substitute adds authority to name a proposed
building and a road for Senate President John McKay and a
