  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to drug abuse prevention;

  3         providing that certain licensees who violate

  4         drug prescription standards shall be referred

  5         to the Attorney General for potential criminal

  6         prosecution; providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Any licensee who violates section

11  458.331(1)(q), Florida Statutes, section 459.015(1)(t),

12  Florida Statutes, section 461.013(1)(o), Florida Statutes, or

13  section 466.028(1)(p), Florida Statutes, shall be referred by

14  the appropriate regulatory board to the Attorney General for a

15  determination of whether to prosecute the licensee for

16  trafficking in illegal drugs under section 893.135, Florida

17  Statutes.

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2002.

22    Provides that certain medical licensees who violate drug
